The Reynard Air-Assisted Transfer Device is a manual handling aid intended for single-patient use over the course of their hospital admission. It is specifically designed to support safe and efficient lateral transfers, such as from patient bed to operating table

By greatly reducing the physical strain on healthcare staff, the device helps to improve workplace safety while also minimising discomfort and anxiety for both patients and caregivers, compared to traditional manual handling techniques.

Reynard’s Air-Assisted Transfer Mats are specifically developed to deliver consistent performance across the full length of the patient’s admission.

• Available in 2 lengths – Full Size 198cm (78″) OR Half Size 119cm (47”)
• Available in 2 widths – 86cm (34″) OR 99cm (39″)

Features:

• Robust design – seams are double-stitched (as opposed to heat sealed) and attachment points are reinforced for increased safety and durability
• Cradle-like effect when inflating – provides a sense of security for both carer and patient
• Suitable for use in all areas of a hospital, including the OR department where fluids are anticipated, and radiology (see notes re radiolucency below)
• Fits existing air supply units mitigating the need for an additional capital outlay

X-ray/MRI Approved

Reynard Air-Assisted Transfer Mats are radiolucent, therefore safe for use with x-ray and MRI equipment. Note that the air supply pump must remain outside of the MRI environment through the use of an extended supply hose (sold separately).
